Jayam Raja & Kavalkaran Team up
Now every one knows that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is done with his 51st film Kaavalkaran (remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard) directed by Siddique which also marks the re-entry of Asin in South Indian cinema after a long gap.
Well Vijay will now team up with Jayam Raja for Velayudham produced by Aascar Ravichandran and Vijay Anthony expected to score music. Bubbly girls Genelia and Hansika Motwani are playing the lady lead roles in the movie.
The director says that this is the first time he is directing a Tamil movie without roping in his brother. The reason is that the story demanded a hero with a larger-than-life image and Vijay suits the role most, adds the director. Genelia D'Souza will potray the role of a journalist, while Hansika Motwani will be the village babe. Santhanam and Sathyan take care of the humour element.
The film started its shooting and is expected to hit screens soon.
Let's hope at least this time Vijay fans, especially producers and theatre owners will not get disappointed and movie will be a block buster hit at box office.
